I'm completely sure you don't remember me, but you were the first to welcome me to Wikipedia 9 years ago (good God) back when I was a snotty little pre-teen. Out of boredom and mild interest I was looking through my very first diffs and saw you were the first, and was really happy to see that you hadn't left the project since you welcomed me a decade ago. I know it was probably a completely unconscious gesture on your part (was Twinkle even around back then?) but I did use those links (primary to do the editorial equivalent of your little kid "helping" you wash your car—well-intentioned, but creating more problems than it's worth). I'm sure none of this matters to you at all, and back then I probably read the message with near-indifference, but your work here... all of our work here... it means something. Mission

My mission on Wikipedia comes from a habit I have in places like bookstores. My habit is that when I see something that needs fixing (like books out of order) I fix it.

   1. Silky_anteater needs to be split into 6 new species articles and a genus article

Multitasking

I'm one given to multitasking; I do more than one thing at the same time, such as Wiki while watching TV.

While geocaching, I'll also bird watch. I've decided to keep track of the birds that I've identified. My other watching lists are whales, military vessels, and military aircraft. I also will now be trying to keep track of the primates I've seen in zoos; I don't expect to ever see any in the wild, but I'll keep my fingers crossed!
